WelcomeAndrea Cooper is a freelance journalist and essay writer in North Carolina. She brings an engaging voice and sense of story to a wide range of topics. Andrea writes about psychology, social issues, education, health, business, science, true life narratives, and more. She has written for many national women’s and parenting magazines, including Elle and Redbook. Her commentaries have aired nationally on NPR’s “All Things Considered.” She also has contributed to speciality publications, including Oxford American, Brain/ Andrea is a two-time winner of the Outstanding Article Award from the American Society of Journalists and Authors.
